Last weekend I had the pleasure of viewing the indie scifi thriller DOMAIN ahead of its world premiere at the Other Worlds Austin SciFi Film Festival. The film is about a group of bunker dwelling survivors of a worldwide plague who are in communication with a handful of other survivors in the underground "Domain.

"We have nothing to fear but fear itself," as FDR said. When writer/director Gaurav Seth adapted post-9/11 sci-fi story “Truth” into his sci-fi thriller Prisoner X, he said, his purpose was “to understand this psychology of paranoia, and how dangerous it is, and how easy it is to exploit.” Seth’s movie receives its Austin premiere this week as part of the Other Worlds Austin sci-fi film festival’s year-round programming.

As a part of their year round Premiere Series, Other Worlds Austin screened the science-fiction film Prisoner X, which is based on the novella Truth by Robert Reed. Being its Austin premiere, the film’s director Gaurav Seth was present at the screening for a Q & A.
An hour before the screening, at the Flix Brewhouse where they were hosting the screening, we sat down to chat with Gaurav about his new film.
