League of Malevolent Computers

Evil computers have been a staple of SciFi films since NOVAC (Nuclear Operative Variable Automatic Computer) in the film GOG (1954). On Thursday, September 17, Other Worlds Austin will screen the award-winning NIGHTMARE CODE, which features R.O.P.E.R., a top secret behavior recognition program. Definitely evil.

In honor of R.O.P.E.R., we’ve been counting down the most evil movie/TV computers by giving them each a “baseball card” with their vital info. Click here if you’d like tickets or to find out more about NIGHTMARE CODE. Enjoy the countdown and leave us a comment with your thoughts on the list.
